If this is a Legal Aid matter the standard fee is $4.30 per page. It is generally about 36 to 40 pages for every hour or recording. For police interviews we will place timestamps in every minute and type verbatim, which includes all uhs, ums and half words. Most times it works out to between 40 to 45 pages for every hour of recording.
If your matter is not Legal Aid it depends on the length of the file as we invoice by the minute. You can refer to our pricing on our website but generally an audio file is $2.90 per audio minute or $3.20 for video files. This includes time stamps, verbatim transcription and a second proof by an experienced proofer.
