I am originally from England and that is where I attended West London College and worked in various secretarial positions until I emigrated to Canada. I began working as a court reporter in the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa in 2002 and continued that position for eight years. In 2010, I became a judicial assistant in the Superior Court of Justice also in Oshawa. I was grandfathered in 2014 as an authorized court transcriptionist by the Ministry of the Attorney General and retired in 2016. I should say semi-retired because I continue to type transcripts and I began contracting with VP Transcription and Reporting Services in 2018 and continue to do so to the present day. I have experience in typing criminal, civil, family and jury trials.
