AUDIO VIDEO TYPIST
I took a course in 2017 with IITCR (International Institute for Court Reporters and Transcribers) and passed with honours. I have been doing transcription work for Videoplus Transcription Services and I have also done transcription work for a company in New York and BC. Prior to taking the course I was employed as a Legal Assistant to a Kingston firm known as Speal & Viner. Upon moving to Ottawa I worked at various legal firms in Ottawa. Some of those firms are: Gowling WLG; Soloway Wright LLP; Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall; Kelly, Manthorp Heaphy. While in their employ my position was to prepare real estate transactions from beginning to end; estate planning documents; estates and corporate documents. While in the employ of Speal & Viner I was also responsible for the accounting.
