AUDIO VIDEO TYPIST
I recently retired after eight years with the Halton Regional Police Service. In my time with the Service I was trained in several bureaus. I worked as a Crown Brief Compiler, becoming familiar with Court documentation and processes, criminal records and terminology. I also worked as a Records Clerk, dealing directly with Officers, locating warrants, typing their reports from the road and completing automobile accident reports.
I have represented the Halton Police in many volunteer capacities; singing in the Halton Regional Police Chorus, serving as a volunteer with the HRPS Victim Service Unit, organizing the Torch Run for Special Olympics, and many other activities. Volunteering feeds my soul!
I have worked independently as a transcriptionist for a Psychologist for the past 25 years. Originally from England, I completed a comprehensive Administrator course while at school in England, taking top honours for shorthand and typing speed.
