Michele has always had an interest in the law. Ever since she can remember she's had a love for it, and knew that one day she would have a career in the legal field.
In 2000 she graduated on the Dean's list with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law and Anthropology from York University. She followed that up with a post graduate paralegal diploma where she earned high honours.
Michele was immediately employed at a very successful law firm on Bay Street in Toronto, and worked there for many years before having her children. After a brief hiatus to take care of them, she knew that her love of law was calling her back. In 2017 she became employed with the Ministry of the Attorney General as a Court Reporter.
Having worked in both the Newmarket and Barrie courthouses, she quickly realized that this was her passion. She gained valuable experience and knowledge in various areas including bail hearings, criminal, family, civil and small claims court matters. In 2018 she successfully completed the course to become an Authorized Court Transcriptionist while on maternity leave with twins and two older children. She is able to multi task like no other! :)
Michele prides herself in her strong work ethic, ability to meet tight deadlines and her perfectionism which, although not always helpful, definitely is a strength when it comes to preparing transcripts! She works hard to ensure that every transcript is accurate and looks forward to providing that service to you.
